Lenten Devotions

Lent is a time to be renewed. Take a few moments for Bible readings and devotions and let prayer and scripture mark each of your days.

Zion members have contributed to a daily devotion booklet that will be used during Lent and the 40 Days of Community. Devotions will be posted online daily and are also available by email. The devotion series will be preceded by a week of prayers beginning on January 27. The email subscription offers a choice of devotions only or devotions plus other 40 days news.

Advent Devotionals - Printed and Electronic options

Clear some time from your advent days for devotions and prayer as we await the coming of the Christ of Christmas. A variety of devotion books for adults and families and colorful key fob prayer reminders are available at the information desk.

If electronic mail is a better choice for you try the God Pause daily devotions from Luther Seminary. God Pause are short, meaningful reflections on the following Sunday’s lessons and gospel. During Advent, God Pause devotions will be taken from “Awake, Awake and Greet the New Morn,” a daily devotional produced by Pacific Lutheran Theological Seminary and Luther Seminary.
